By Road

From Wellington, take the SH1 through Paekakariki. After passing the entrance to Queen Elizabeth Park, watch for the sign to "Raumati Beach and Shops", and turn left into Raumati Road. After two kilometers (one mile) at the end of Raumati Road, turn left into Rosetta Road, and take the next right turn into Garden Walk. Follow the road to the beach car park, then walk back into the Marine Gardens

From the north, take SH1 through Paraparaumu, and watch for the Raumati Beach sign after two kilometers (one mile). Turn right into Raumati Road, then follow the directions above.

By Public Transport

Paraparaumu is served by Transmetro suburban trains from Wellington. From Paraparaumu Railway Station, take a Mana Bus, service 73 or 74 to Raumati Beach.
